1. Overview

VidShrink is a Yologics project built around privacy and simplicity. You can use its tools without creating an account or providing your name or email address.

2. Local photo processing

When you shrink, convert, crop, resize, or bundle photos, processing happens directly in your browser. Those photo files are not uploaded to VidShrink.

3. Optional cloud video processing

If you choose the Cloud Video Compressor, your selected video is uploaded through a signed connection to private Cloudflare R2 storage. A temporary Google Cloud Run worker downloads it, creates the compressed result with FFmpeg, and returns a private time-limited download address.

Source videos, compressed results, and job-status files are scheduled for automatic deletion within 24 hours. They are not publicly listed, sold, used for advertising, or used to train artificial-intelligence models.

4. Security and abuse prevention

The public cloud beta uses Cloudflare Turnstile, per-connection rate limits, signed session tokens, and daily capacity controls. Turnstile and basic website analytics may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser type, and challenge results to prevent automated abuse and understand service reliability.

5. Downloads

Local-tool results are created in your browser. Cloud-video results use an expiring private download address. You are responsible for saving the finished file before the address expires.

6. Voluntary support

Coffee Supporter payments are optional one-time contributions processed by Stripe. VidShrink does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.

7. Your responsibilities

Only submit files you are legally allowed to process. Do not submit illegal, exploitative, infringing, malicious, or privacy-violating content.
