1. Agreement
By using VidShrink, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
VidShrink is a Yologics project providing browser-based media tools and a limited public cloud video-compression beta. The service may change, pause, impose limits, or end at any time. No account is currently required.
3. Your files and permissions
You retain your rights in your files. You give VidShrink only the temporary permission necessary to receive, process, store, and return a file when you deliberately choose cloud processing. You confirm that you own the file or otherwise have the legal right to process it.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use VidShrink to submit, create, or distribute content that is illegal; sexually exploits or endangers minors; violates another person’s privacy; infringes intellectual-property rights; contains malware; facilitates fraud or abuse; or interferes with the service. Automated submissions, attempts to bypass security checks or limits, and use that creates unreasonable infrastructure load are prohibited.
5. Public-beta limits
Cloud processing is offered under fair-use limits, including file-size, rate, preset, and daily-capacity restrictions. A completed security check does not guarantee capacity. VidShrink may reject or stop jobs to protect users, availability, or costs.
6. Temporary storage and deletion
Cloud-uploaded sources, compressed results, and status files are scheduled for automatic deletion within 24 hours. Download links expire sooner. You are responsible for downloading and safely keeping your result. Do not use VidShrink as permanent storage.
7. Paid Large File Pass and refunds
The 24-Hour Large File Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks eligible cloud-video uploads above the free 500 MB limit and up to the currently stated paid limit. It does not create a subscription.
Self-service refund requests may be submitted within 7 days of purchase. VidShrink may automatically refund a Large File Pass when privacy-safe service records do not show a successful paid-tier compression. Requests involving successful paid-tier use, older purchases, disputes, incomplete records, unusual usage, or suspected abuse may require manual review. Approved refunds are returned only to the original payment method. VidShrink may also issue refunds at its discretion when doing so is fair to the customer.

8. Voluntary contributions
Coffee Supporter payments are optional one-time contributions supporting VidShrink and Yologics. They are not charitable donations, subscriptions, purchases of guaranteed capacity, or tax-deductible contributions. The tools remain available whether or not you contribute, subject to the same fair-use limits.
9. Beta service and warranties
VidShrink is provided “as is” and “as available.” Compression may change quality, metadata, codecs, compatibility, file size, or orientation, and a job may fail. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VidShrink disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or a particular result.
10. Limitation of responsibility
Keep your original files and verify every output before deleting an original. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VidShrink and Yologics are not responsible for lost files, lost profits, indirect damages, or consequences of prohibited or unauthorized content.
11. Enforcement and changes
VidShrink may block access, remove temporary content, preserve information when legally required, or cooperate with valid legal process. These Terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
